Whisky has extraordinary characteristics that allow it to be transformed into music.
Those who enjoy whisky know its evolution from an initial warm taste on the lips to a rich full body experience, kindred to the transformative and long-lasting qualities of music.
Each individual whisky has an individual piece of music composed for it, where the characteristics of the whisky’s taste, smell and duration are complemented and intensified.
The performance consists of a concert where the audience’s whisky tasting is synchronized with each individual composition. The audience begin the performance, each with five whisky glass in front of them. Through music and stories, the two performers give the audience a progressively greater understanding of the connection between the complexities of whisky’s taste and sound, one dram at a time.
